In this photograph montage from Jason T. Beck called Celebrating Ricky Miller, we get a glimpse of the life of Ricky from Akron, Ohio, who battled idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a chronic condition that causes scarring in the lung tissue.

Sadly, Ricky died of complications from the condition in April 2016 when the disease became more severe. He was just 33 years old. He is survived by his wife, Liz, whom he married in 2004 and their four children. Ricky was an inspiration to those around him as he never gave up hope and faith, and continued, even when he was ill, to show compassion for others.
